So...this seems like good news, I think. Not ideal news, but it sounds like more of a parent training mandate than anything criminal. The Chiefs undoubtedly support participation in parent training programs.

This means ... something. Or not much ...

Fwiw - two days ago, I heard from someone on CP who people chased off as a fraud (even though he had genuinely tried to provide close-hand information) who said that Tyreek would be in court shortly and that he and Crystal had lost custody of the child who was now in the care of Crystal's mother. He added that Tyreek wasn't currently facing any charges.

His takes have consistently been proven correct.

This mean Hill will be ready game 1?

Well, not sure about that. He did tell me - many weeks ago - that the kid had suffered some spiral fracture that was a classic indicator of abuse. He also knew about the investigation a couple days before the Star had ever reported it.

I don't think anyone knows what child services, the police, the NFL, and the Chiefs have concluded.

Was the abuse caused by Hill?

Still no charges so it means absolutely nothing. Expect rival fans to assume court date means guilt though.

You want me to answer "yes" and then you're going to ask "but, how do you really know?"

And it comes down to the source. Believe it or not.

Is this like someone taking a driver's education class to get a deferment for a speeding ticket?

So was it a yes?

Photo shows Hill and Espinal walking into court together, presumably with the lawyer. So they’re on the same page evidently.

This means news should be coming to some extent tonight, yes?

We've seen time and time again that no charges means absolutely nothing. No charges against Kareem Hunt and he was bounced like that and still suspended harshly by the league.

Dang. I feel bad for that kid.
