Thinking about taking the wife to a "fork n screen" though, some friends have done it and say that's the way to do it now. Eliminates the rowdy teenagers who are always running their mouths in the back row too.

Bundle up, take a folding chair, go buy a few bundles of firewood, some snacks, some booze and head for the nearest lake or river.

Start a fire, kick back in your chair with some drinks and enjoy the scenery in peace and quite, no noise but the crackling fire and honking geese... i do this several times a winter to beat the cabin fever blues and its refreshing every single time.

Sounds good...but also like a lot of work.
