Would THIS make you consider becoming a vegetarian?
What's up with the PETA's new nude ads campaign? I guess it generates publicity. That's obvious. But, does it work? Does ANYONE become a vegetarian because of semi-naked pics? Why does being naked equate to vegegarianism or saving animals? PETA is just a bunch of weirdos. Whatever!

HOUSTON —
The nude ad starring actress Alicia Silverstone and promoting vegetarianism has been pulled in Houston, where it was supposed to debut.
The TV commercial, which Silverstone was doing for the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA), had been scheduled to launch on Wednesday. But Comcast Cable, which had planned to carry the spot, banned the ad because Silverstone is naked, according to media reports.
The 30-year-old actress, who appeared in movies such as "Clueless" and "Batman & Robin," shot the ad to promote vegetarianism. Silverstone is a vegetarian.
In the 30-second ad — which was originally scheduled to air about two dozen times in Houston on Wednesday — Silverstone is shown emerging from a swimming pool and talking about the benefits of being a vegetarian. She obscures the view of her body with her arms as she gets out of the pool.
"I wasn't always a vegetarian, but I've always loved animals," she said in a news release. "Physically, the effect has been amazing."
The animal-rights group said it launched the commercial in Houston because the city is often high on lists of cities with unhealthy eating habits. Houston was named the sixth-fattest city in the nation by Men's Fitness magazine this year.
