Just found a JoCo Sheriff's Office notice on my door
 

Says there's a "court notice you must pick up ASAP".

Wonder what in the world this could be?

List of possibilities on their website includes:

Writ of Restitution (Evictions) - my rent is not delinquent
Special Writ of Executions - don't think I have any sort of outstanding debts
Service of Protection/Stalking Orders - last I checked I'm not stalking anyone
Vehicle Registration Enforcement - everything up to date
Delinquent Tax Collection - everything up to date
Foreclosure Sales - not applicable
Divorce Orders - not married

Any other possibilities?

Traffic violations? I know JoCo is filled with red light cameras and well the system for them is a joke.

I'm sure there's a number you can call like the clerk's office....ask them wtf it's for.

You actually going to go pick it up? Leaving something on your door doesn't exactly qualify as successful service. Anything could have happened to it before you got home.

I think the Sheriff just left the note on the wrong door. Don't worry about it. ;)
