At the very worst they could have tried a hail mary that would have taken 8-10 seconds and virtually run out the clock. It would have been comical to see if Cassel could throw it through the uprights from that far out.

I don't know, but I bet whoever it is coaches a team that manages to get a delay of game after a spike to stop the clock.
