Do you think Gonzalez was the only receiver running a pattern on that play? You have to have someone take up space and draw a defender in the middle. It shouldnt have been Gonzalez, but trust me, the blame lies on Elvis for throwing it to him, not the coaches.

There were two bad things on this call, one is not have TG in the endzone and the second is Grbac for throwing it there. I don't know if it was a case were Grbac thought that TG was going to make a play out of that, but it was not a wise choice. I'm guessing we will hear what happened on this play later this week. For Grbac to nail the TD in 2 plays on the drive before was brilliant, this on the other hand was obviously not.
