This certainly gives the Colts a nice young offense for years to come.

Richardson has all the makings to be a productive RB in the NFL. Now he can go to a team where he just has to be a good RB instead of being the savior for the franchise. I don't buy the whole "not a good fit for our system" bullshit.

What's your system? Not having young playmakers? That's a good system.

Browns are tanking the season early.

Very good running backs are routinely found way beyond the first round.

Marshawn Lynch was traded for a 4th rounder.

Getting a first round pick in return for Richardson is highway robbery.

the colts offensive line sucks and TR is gonna get beat up.

Yep. The Browns offensive line is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better than Indy's, yet TR averaged only 3.5 a carry.

This move smells like Irsay, not Grigson.

Yep seems like a good way to trade a bust and get a good return.

two 1st round picks for the Browns next year

Weeden on his way out

Rbs are being devalued by the day yet the browns just got a first round pick for one that's not great but decent.

Great for the browns

GoChargers 09-18-2013 04:48 PM

Colts overpaid for an overrated player.

Browns now have 7 picks in the top 4 rounds. For a team that's not competing this year, they're positioning for th future

This....if anything the colts proved during the peyton years that RBs are utterly replaceable. You draft them young, you run them into the ground and you let them sign somewhere else.

Does anyone really give a shit about the RBs on the patriots, the packers, the broncos, etc? The only time people care about elite RBs is when they don't have a QB.

As much as I love Jamaal(who was drafted in rd 3), I get rid of him in a heartbeat if it meant getting an elite QB.

Direckshun 09-18-2013 04:52 PM

This is a good investment for the Browns.

This is a team that has a pretty good DT rotation, a little passrushing talent, some great OL pieces and basically nothing else.

This is going to speed up their rebuilding process. The key is, can they actually strike gold.

CaliforniaChief 09-18-2013 04:52 PM

Didn't Irsay promise months ago that a big move was coming? He strikes me as an assclown, but there it is.
