That's not necessarily true. We could do the same plan the Broncos did last year and take a developmental guy in round 2.

Harbaugh also took a developmental guy in round 2 even though he already had Alex Smith.

Because it's happened 2, we are automatically going to do it?

Those situations are totally different. Smith was already with the 9ers. He's going to be brought in to be the starter here for atleast 2 years.
