Welcome to the future, courtesy of Honda. Introducing the Honda Reani, what may very well be the most important car released for the 2012 automobile year.

The Reani is a compact sports car, but the revolutionary aspect isn’t the appearance, or any of the other outward features. It’s the fact that the 2012 Honda Reani gets, without the benefit of hybrid technology or even E fuel, to get 90 highway miles per hour.

It was a joke, silly. It is a mistake in the article. It should be miles per gallon.

But, yes, my GTI is fast. I forget what the 0 to 60 is, but I think it's sub-7.

If my fat ass will fit in a car like that, might have to look at one for my daily commute, which is around 75 miles a day roundtrip.

This will shake up the market for the Volt which is more expensive and less efficient.

Hilarious that this car will get double the mileage of the Chevy Volt, and be half the price.

That would cut my taquito/buffalo chicken log consumption by 60%.

So what new technology does it use? "New fuel economy technology" is pretty vague. I have a hard time believing they came up with a way to magically double a car's fuel efficiency.
