I took more of what he was talking about to be in reference to a Morman growing up in a small town in Hawaii. That's more about culture and environment shaping your world view growing up. This is a very multicultural place, a place that has taken aspects of the culture of a lot of different places and melded them into a unique culture of their own. People came here from all over, and that is reflected in our culture regardless of the race of the individual. It is a great place to live.
