Yes, the bullet traveled from the upper inside of his calf down towards the outside blowing a little less than half the outside of his calf away. He still has a monstrous cavity in his leg from it and he was using FMJ’s not hollow points.

My father was shot in the back from about 10 feet away with an AR15 by a deputy. And I watched it happen. Long depressing story. Needless to say he didn't live.
