Thank You For Smoking

I loved this movie! Anyone else seen it? What do you think?

"If I get this paper written in an hour, can I stay up all night?"
"That's a negotiation, not an argument."

"How did you convince her to let you go?"
"It was an argument, not a negotiation."

Yeah, I saw it in the theater.

It was an odd experience. More people were talking during that movie all around the theater than I can remember happening before. I guess that it really stimulated instant conversation.

Aaron Eckhart is not tremendously well known, but is an interesting actor.

Also liked him in "In the Company of Men" (though that movie is not for everyone)

I really enjoyed this movie. I too saw it in the theater. Really thought Eckhart nailed his performance. It's been a while since I have seen it so I can't get into particulars as to why I enjoyed it but it was quite entertaining. Gonna have to netflix it.

I enjoyed it... after seeing some of the deleted scenes it made some of the other scenes such as the dream sequence make more sence- one of the main reasons i really liked it was that I am very much like him only i dont get paid as much -

I have reccomend it to alot of people

if you havent seen it its worth a 99cent Tues Rental at Dillions

Great flick.

Interesting note - not once in this movie does anybody smoke.

I loved this movie too. It didn't have to stoop to fart sounds to be funny.

I remember that there was one point where he opens a pack of cigarettes, but he never got one out. Very interesting observation.

This movie definitely had a more subtle, adult sense of humor.

It definitely had the message that people need to be open minded. Also, that there's several ways to argue a point.

Did you not notice that not even once in the movie did you see someone smoking?

I actually thought about it whenever he got the nicotine patches put all over him. When he was told to quit, I go tto thinking "That shouldn't be too hard. I don't think he's lit one during the entire movie." I didn't really think about it after that though.
