Betting tomorrow's game
 

****DISCLAIMER - I AM NOT TRYING TO OFFEND ANYONE OR BE INSENSITIVE, I'M JUST CURIOUS BECAUSE THE SPORTSBOOKS HAVEN'T PULLED THIS GAME****

so I'm a gambling addict and I'd like to know what we think about tomorrow's game now...

Carolina is -4

do we have any shot now, are we even going to try?

Romeo just witnessed a friend/player commit suicide in front of him, there is no way they are practicing today or doing a walkthrough...that has to be a HUGE disadvantage, right?

or are we gonna have a "lets win one for Javon!" game tomorrow? Yeah he's a murderer and no one should feel sorry for him, but his teammates probably cared for him like a brother and might take this as a personal quest to win one in his honor.

or are they gonna just go through the motions and not give a shit since the NFL wouldn't postpone and lose by 50?

What does everyone think?

and I'm not trying to be offensive I was just surprised to see the sportsbooks haven't pulled this game for these reasons.

The Chiefs are either going to come out on fire or absolutely deflated.

It could go either way the Chiefs could rally and win by 40, or lose by 100. Quite frankly I could care less about this aspect.

One of the players on the team we cheer for murdered someone, and the NFL won't postpone the game...

so if they don't care, then as a person who is free to do what I wish, I'll bet it!

All or nothing game. Chiefs either rise up and show tremendous heart and blow Carolina out from the start, or the Chiefs will never be in the game.

Hali is pissed they won't postpone the game...

I just think we are going to see a shellacking to remember...like 42-3...

I'm not very privy into when you do your pre-game walkthrough and what not...but isn't Saturday a BIG practice day?

I don't think it will be a nail-bitter. Which way, idk. I would lean towards losing. It being a murder makes it more depressing tomorrow than, well idk the word, a game of honoring him. Will be a day of contradicting emotion.

If the game is played, the Chiefs are going to get obliterated. IMHO.

I feel like the biggest kicker is missing a Saturday practice for a Sunday game...that is a big deal, right?

too soon.. if this happened in Monday or Tuesday then maybe the chiefs would play better but right now they're probably just numb

The responses in this thread remind me of Reservoir Dogs: "he's either alive or he's dead...or the cops got him, or they don't."

If I were a betting man I would stay completely away from this game. As others have said it will be a blow out, but no one can tell for whom. Best bet on this one is no bet.
