Because they were only able to make one and if they had the tech to make them all there would be no purpose for making the movie.;)

The only other explanation is that the enhancement gear operation is very brutal ,and thus lethal which is the reason why there isn't any volunteers because everyone has died during the procedure.

It's actually pretty good Sharlto Copley plays his role excellently.

Blomkamp wrote it (he's South African as I recall) so I think it's less about immigration than about the Rich versus the poor. I don't have a problem with that. What i have a problem with is not doing it well. Apparently he just beats you over the head with it for 2 hours.

I liked it. There's a lot of gore, cool weapons, interesting fight scenes and leave it to a bunch of Mexicans to try and illegally immigrate to a space station. o:-)

It's far from perfect but it's fun.
