Bjoern Werner
Could he possibly add 12-20lbs and play as a 1-gap DE? I haven't watched him at all, save a few snaps on ESPN and casually watching FSU.
Edit: He's 6'5 275 currently. FWIW, JJ Watt is pretty prototypical size in 6'5, 295. |
If you blur your eyes and look at the title of this thread, it look's like it says "Sperm Warmer".

He's a 43 defensive end. And he's very, very good. Relentless and nasty. And consider that he's only played organized football for four or five years total, he's still got a lot of growth in terms of understanding the game. However, he plays with a natural, instinctive feel for the game. I think he's very similar to John Abraham. |
KK. I haven't watched him and no idea if he had the frame to play the 3-tech. Well, that plan can apparently GTFO.

Something the other day was brought to my attention regarding a dlineman. If the Faid do infact cut ties with Seymour, would you bring him into KC if he wanted to keep playing.
|
Yes. He can provide valuable leadership that our defense clearly needs and can fit any scheme we put together and he's still playing at a high level.
|
And he can provide insight into the raiders.
|
Jackson, Poe, Seymour across the front?
|
Hell if he could mold Jackson into himself, that would be cool.
|
Seymour in front of Tamba or Houston on 3rd down would be pretty scary.

I want this + Geno so bad. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/lvq0yY4PCV4" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

What does he play in the 34? Can he bulk up and be a Wyatt type guy?

He's a 43 defensive end exclusively. |

Additionally, you could do various stunts to get him 1-1 matchups that would play favorably to his style, especially in a fire-zone base. |
Maybe who we are looking for is Margus Hunt? Anyone watched much of him?

I watched the Montana St (iirc) kid. I want. |

I mean, the guy is an absolute beast and is non-stop, but you'd have to run a 46 version of the 3-4 defense if you want to keep your current personel and add a guy like Werner (but then you've kind of got that same guy in Hali and Houston). Personally, I think we should really look at getting a DC in here that can effectively run it (perhaps Rob Ryan) as our personel is really set up for it right now. We'd kill teams with that setup. Poe and Berry would absolutely thrive in it and it would allow Powe to see the field and redirect the point of attack. It ain't gonna happen though. I think he could legitimately go to Jacksonville at #2. |
