Woman killed in dog attack

A 71-year-old Kansas City, Kan., woman was killed today when she was attacked by a dog, police said.
Police identified the woman as Jimmie May McConnell of 3100 Longwood Ave.
Neighbors said she was gardening when a dog jumped the fence and attacked her. Firefighters who arrived at the scene had to get the dog off the woman. She was taken to a hospital, and police later said she had died.
Police said the dog was a pit bull. Kansas City, Kan., bans pit bulls.

A bit off topic, but I think we're going to be ok w/out T-Rich. The sig of the thread starter shows "the call" and T-Rich doesn't really block anyone; Dunn, Shields, and Waters all blew up their guys. I'm thinking Dunn can handle the job.

My neighbor had a chunk of ice from an airliner fall through his roof a couple of years ago.

Biased media - you never hear the reports when a Grandma kills a pitbull. Such a double standard.

Well isn't that cozy. Now that you are all feeling saaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaafe what will be the next piece of legislation passed to make them feel secure up there? I'm going with mandatory knee pads and crash helmet before leaving the house. You just can't be too careful these days. :)
