Android running on an iPhone?

I'm trying to decide between the Droid & iPhone too.

Do you like wasting money or something? EVO w/ Sprint. Much cheaper, better phone, 4G.

Cheaper? Its the same price as the Droid. Looks like a badass phone though. I have the Droid, I'm not looking to upgrade anytime soon.

I still contend 4G isn't deployed enough to be a meaningful pro.

Thats like saying 2 years ago that the HD quality of a blu-ray isn't a meaningful pro because nobody has a blu-ray player.

Is not Sprint's service a lot cheaper, even with the $10 a month EVO fee?

Depends on if it is where you live, or is scheduled to be soon. I believe the KC area is getting it this summer, and there are a lot of markets being hit this year.

I really hate mail in rebates. Just price the damn thing at 199 and be done with it. The EVO looks nice, will look at it when the new iPhone comes out and will probably choose between them.

I think you have to look at the overall service plan, as really, that is a part of the cost of the phone.

Though I didn't know the Droid was as cheap as it is, but it is still the ugliest phone of the bunch.

4G has been on in KC for over a month now and in some spots even longer

I'm talking about the cell phone service in general. Not the phone. Let me assure you, the iphone and other 4G phones people come out w/ will be at least $199. And actually, you will be able to get the evo in many locations w/ out the mailing rebate for $199.
