Don't waste your time explaining. Clay doesn't understand football. He just uses ratings by some website and then makes outlandish claims without any justification or reasoning to back it up. Him thinking Hali/Houston are better fit or won't perform any worse in the 4-3 than in a 3-4 should be all you need to know.

Well, that's good to know. Cut his ass.

We're taking Geno, right? We're taking a QB?

Please say yes.

Your silence is scaring me, guys.

I'd like to think that with Reid and Dorsey coming in....that they're going to see the absolute need to draft a QB at this point.

I'd also like to think that Reid sees a smarter, more accurate Donovan McNabb in Geno Smith.

But not knowing what defense they're going to run......scares the shit out of me when it comes to the draft.

Demontre Moore is worth the #1 pick. If we had done something like drafted Ryan Tannehill last year, I would be perfectly satisfied to take Moore, who seems to fit the 4-3 under like a gem at a DE position that we have real apparent need for.

But that's not what we have. We have no QB, and there's a franchise guy sitting right there.

Exactly. Manny Lawson is an outside LB in Cincinatti, for example.

This is much less about Tyson Jackson and much more about making sure you understand the 4-3 under defense.

It's pretty obvious at this point that you need to study up.

Titty Meat 01-07-2013 11:18 AM

Dont like that move at all. Taking the strongest part of the defense and depleting it. Hali always got his shit pushed in against the run and youll have 2 unknowns at defensive tackle plus who will be the other d end? **** that.

I know what the 4-3 under is. I only wrote an entire article about it 4 years ago.

Moore would likely be a SLB IMO in this system and we already have Houston.

Unless we are planning to take a MLB or CB with the #1 pick, it won't be defense. More than likely QB or LT if Joeckel comes out.

If they bring in the 4-3 under, they're actually leveraging the strongest part of the defense.

Again, the 4-3 under would be a way to run the 4-3 with our existing personnel and not have to shoehorn the defense.

I will say this. A 1-gap 4-3 under is INFINITELY better than the 2-gap SHIT we've seen the last couple of years, 3-4 or not.

I wasn't a douche. I was simply responding to your horrible post.

Horrid idea.

Jackson playing the 5T in a 2-gap 3-4 is a horrid idea. Why? Because he ****ing sucks.

You took that completely out of context. If he can be a backup 5T, he can be a backup DE in the 4-3 under.

Doesn't make him suck any more or any less.

So yeah, you're being a douche.

He is gone. No way he is here with a 17 mil cap hit.
