Canofbier 03-09-2012 09:27 PM

Damn. Not often you see something like this so far before the draft, if indeed it is true.

kcxiv 03-09-2012 09:28 PM

Its Glazer, its true. Dude never puts anything out there if its not true!

Two number 1's and additional picks.... insane Redskins, insane.

listopencil 03-09-2012 09:31 PM

Wow, blockbuster trade if true.

Buck 03-09-2012 09:31 PM

Today is a good day to have the Redskins be your #2 team.

NJChiefsFan 03-09-2012 09:31 PM

Well if swapping, giving up 2 #1's, plus more was what we would have to TOP, no way it was going to happen anyway.

tk13 03-09-2012 09:32 PM

Is this a joke? I can't believe they would make this trade so far before draft day. Makes no sense.

kstater 03-09-2012 09:32 PM

**** you you cheap bastard Clark. Can't believe you wouldn't give up the next 4 1st rounders to get RGIII

Three first rounders. That's what I thought. There was no way they make this trade unless the haul was insane.

Don't mention dumb when talking about the Redskins. That's not fair to dumb.

Shox 03-09-2012 09:35 PM

RG III will be in his 30s before he makes it deep in the playoffs. Redskind roster needs a ton of help. Now they have 3 drafts with no #1 picks.

Setsuna 03-09-2012 09:35 PM

That's disheartening.

I wonder what it would have taken for us to go from 11 to 2. 4 1sts and 2 seconds probably

Do it before teams get their QB's in free agency and the value of the pick goes down?

tk13 03-09-2012 09:36 PM

I was going to say they still should've waited, but I doubt anyone would beat three 1sts. I figured someone would do something stupid, I guess it shouldn't be surprising it's Dan Snyder.

Buck 03-09-2012 09:36 PM

Can the Rams get Justin Blackmon at 6? If so, I would be nutting right now if I were Rams Fan.

My thoughts exactly. You're likely talking a couple top ten picks if not higher. Another first rounder on top of that plus a second rounder and others? Talk about going all-in...

Who's out there to get? There's one elite QB out there... and he's 36 and coming off four neck surgeries.

TheGuardian 03-09-2012 09:38 PM

RGIII will be a bust. SAve my post. Write it down.

That Skins team is completely void of talent. And now, they have no 1st rounders to help him with.

And this isn't an Aaron Rodgers situation where he's gonna sit on the bench for 3 years or some shit. You give up that many draft picks for a guy, he better be the second coming. And RGIII isn't.

**** that. Might as well skip this inevitable shitstain of a mediocre season, restructure Tamba and DJ at the end of 2012 so we can trade them off and start another rebuild with a non-OCD general manager and a decent head coach.

It's move like these that make me say, that's why the Redskins are the Redskins. But, if RGIII end up being really good then......???? Who knows? It could be worth it? Still huge risk though.

Fritz88 03-09-2012 09:40 PM

We must get either Flynn or Orton.

I prefer Orton.

Well, to be fair, the Chiefs dont do shit and are still the Chiefs. lol If we give up 3 first rounders or nothing, we still got Matt Cassel.

Its to much to give up, but hey, we arent going a damn place either. lol I dont see all that much of a difference, except they at least get some RG3 Hype. We got ugh... yeah

whatever ... On opening day next year when Bradford bends over to tie his shoe and breaks his clavicle the Rams will be wishing that kept that pick.

I agree. The Chiefs are very passive.

Which is sometimes not a bad thing. In my mind, teams can be very passive and still make excellent decisions. Look at the Steelers as an example. Besides, FA can be a big time crap shoot. At the end of the day, its how you carry through and progress with your evaluation and decision making. To me, it dont make a difference if your passive or aggressive. Although, Im not gonna lie, I want to see them aggressive in pursuing Manning. Just because he I believe he is soooo damn good he could make KC a SuperBowl contender overnight. But I'm just not inclined to believe they will be aggressive. It's just not who they are. So hearing that we have no interviews lined up with him doesn't surprise me. If they don't sign him, it'll be because they'll lose the bidding war thanks in large part to their passiveness.

Itll just add to the frustration. But more than anything, losing out on Manning wont overcome the terrible personnel decisions this franchise has made in the past . (i.e., trading for Cassel and hiring Haley)

*We can go somewhere if we get that quarterback and right offensive system in place. I'm on the Manning wagon.

TheGuardian 03-09-2012 10:00 PM

These kinds of decisions destroy franchises.

Like I said, you don't "give up everything" for something unknown like that.

Just dumb of epic proportions. I mean dumb isn't even a strong enough word.

WV 03-09-2012 10:00 PM

3 number 1's is insane!
