What TV shows do you watch religiously?

Right now, mine are:

Castle
Grimm
Once Upon a Time
Walking Dead
Elementary
Revolution

I've recently been exposed to Emily Owens, MD. I like that one. My best friend always says that she reminds him of me. The more I watch it, the more I can see why.

There are others that I watch, but I'm not heartbroken if I miss an episode. Those shows seem to be Arrow, Chicago Fire, and any of the Monday night CBS comedies.

007 12-09-2012 08:37 PM

Castle
Tuesday night CBS
Wednesday night ABC comedies
Arrow
Person of Interest
Fringe

I used to watch Person of Interest all the time. Once I got into derby, I just found that I didn't really miss it that much.

I think Emily Owen got cancelled because you are only 1 of only three people who watch it.

Luv, my girlfriend watches Once upon a time. I don't get how grown women can like that shit. Horrible acting and fairy tale bullshit.

Please explain, because so far my girlfriend can't.

-King- 12-09-2012 09:41 PM

Breaking bad is the only tv show I have ever seen from start to end in my life.

I've also watched every Office episode up to halfway through the 7th season.

Sure, the acting isn't that great. I like the story line though. And Captain Hook is total eye candy. :D

I really think I should add 2 Broke Girls to my list. It's about the only CBS Monday night comedy that I think I've tried to catch nearly every episode of.

Baby Lee 12-09-2012 09:54 PM

Homeland
TWD
Daily Show and Colbert
Grey's
Parks & Rec
Blue Bloods
Fringe

out of season
Curb
Justified
Archer
Girls

those are the ones that don't survvie 24 hours on my DVR.

GoT and Shameless because, though I might love those two more than any other they are fun to marathon. Never miss an ep, though.

Outside of that show, their mondays are terrible now. HIMYM fell off a few years back. I do watch it sometimes just because i wanna see who the damn mother is after i invested so much time into that damned show.

Anyways, Kat Dennings is yummy, she's the major reason why i even watch the show and i also like her crude humor.

SuperChief 12-09-2012 11:55 PM

Shows set to record on my DVR:

The Office
Parks & Rec
Jeopardy

Shows that I'm in the middle of elsewhere:

The Wire
Deadwood
Rome
Dawson's Creek (...yeah. I know)
Breaking Bad

Shows that I finished up fairly recently:

Entourage
Heroes
Arrested Development

nstygma 12-10-2012 01:22 AM

last one i can recall is Stargate Universe

before that was Deadwood and Sopranos

patteeu 12-10-2012 08:45 AM

Most of the TV shows I watch come from Netflix as the latest season is released. Most recently I finished Sanctuary and the 6th season of Psych. Other shows I watch as they become available are

Curb Your Enthusiasm
Supernatural
Weeds
Eureka (this one loses my interest but the family likes it)

The only first run TV I watch is on Sunday:

FOXNews Sunday
2nd half of This Week
McLaughlin Group
CBS NFL Pregame Show
Chiefs game

Saulbadguy 12-10-2012 08:54 AM

Mad Men
The Office (although i'm glad it's coming to an end)

That's it.

Buehler445 12-10-2012 08:55 AM

The only shows I catch live or DVR are:
Burn Notice
White Collar
KU basketball
Longmire

Normally I don't catch the start of a show and have to find out after the fact that they are good and end up watching the seasons elsewhere.
How I met your Mother
Mad Men
Spartacus
House (still haven't caught the last season)
Magic City

That's all that's still ongoing that I will see every episode of.

Predarat 12-10-2012 09:17 AM

Parks and Rec, The League, The Office (hope they bring back Michael Scott for a few episondes, at least the seriese final). Others shows I watch are Go On, Guys With Kids and Twilight Zone reruns.

Predarat 12-10-2012 09:18 AM

Community too when they bring it back, they need to, not sure why they put it to part time.

The Cancellation Bear is eating well today. Emily Owens, MD has been officially canceled by the CW, but the network has announced that all 13 episodes ordered will air.

This was no surprise to anyone paying attention, and/or following our predictions all season long

mr. tegu 12-10-2012 09:47 AM

Family Guy
American Dad
Pawn Stars
American Pickers
Finding Bigfoot
Spartacus when it was going

I really do watch a lot of the same stuff over and over. Never really realized it. I watch plenty of other shows but these are the ones I watch repeatedly the most and make sure to catch the new ones as they air.

Eh, no biggie. I've seen three episodes on hulu plus. I'll watch the season that exists and be done with it. :)

luv 12-10-2012 09:57 AM

On a tangent, but shows that I like to watch whenever there's nothing else on (i.e. I want something to watch/listen to whenever I'm bored or doing something else):

American Pickers
Nearly any of the Pawn shows
ESPN (aka endless loops of Sports Center)
Diners, Drive-ins and Dives

Dayze 12-10-2012 10:07 AM

South Beach Tow

Frazod 12-10-2012 12:31 PM

Game of Thrones
Spartacus
Pawn Stars
Archer
Vegas (kick ass new show)

Shows I watch with the wife that I probably wouldn't watch on my own, but don't really mind:
NCIS
Hawaii 5-0

I'll occasionally watch CSI, CSI New York and Blue Bloods with her as well, but not every episode.

aturnis 12-10-2012 03:44 PM

The Walking Dead
Gold Rush
NCIS
Parks and Recreation

lcarus 12-10-2012 05:09 PM

The only shows I watch at all right now is The Walking Dead and The Office. I don't know why I even bother with The Office anymore. It isn't very good at this point.

I need to get caught up with Spartacus. I watched all of season 1 and the prequel season and then only watched the first couple episodes of season 2. Once Andy Whitfield died and there was no more John Hannah, I kinda lost interest. I'll still watch them eventually.

I watched House, Rescue Me, and Sherlock religiously. But House and Rescue Me are done, and Sherlock won't be back for a long time.

Dunno about funnier, he had some great moments on Friends [wearing everything Chandler owned, He and Ross playing cowboys and indians, putting 'The Shining' book in the freezer]

But yeah, Episodes is a hoot, and Carol is hot as holy ****. Love every episode where she and Bev go hiking d/t those hiking tights she wears.

Thats an intriguing looking show, and i thought that long before i found out that most events are re-enacted.

Its funny to think about them as having a real, capable of violence "outside the law" police force... i delivered cabinetry supplies to several huge operations in Arthur, Ill once a week for three years, going into their homes and shops etc.

They never struck me that way, the only time you would ever see a bit of edge to them, is if they happened to have the 1 in 300 flirty, hot daughter who signs your reciept each week... the men intervene quickly to handle the business if things start looking out of hand, lol... they're like dutch/german mexicans in that way.

Other than that, my strongest memory is that their homes smell like pickling spices and body odor.

Hard to believe they have some "badass patrol"

Watching my first episode right now, based on my dealings with the amish, the east coast clan almost arent amish anymore.

They're now on two different tv shows, that definitely isnt amish ethic as i've known it... these are people who wont wear clothes with zippers because its "showing off to God"

I too enjoyed Alcatraz, but I recently read that the showrunners had no idea where they were going, editing scripts right up to filming, completely at a loss as to what the larger story was going to be.
