"WalterFootball.com has heard that Kansas City likes Bostic...

...He could be their top choice at the top of the third round. "

Just passing it on.

"WalterFootball.com has heard that Kansas City loves Jones."

Speaking about Barratt Jones.

Sorter 04-20-2013 02:10 PM

Is Walter just pulling shit from CP now?

Direckshun 04-20-2013 02:18 PM

Walter has also declared KC's interested in Kiko Alonso, Sam Montgomery, Tyler Wilson, and (less impressively) has determined that the Chiefs will take Joeckel.

RealSNR 04-20-2013 03:34 PM

We can't draft all those guys, so... good job, Walter? Your report means nothing.

If things went crazy it could end up:

1.Fisher
2(Albert). Wilson
3. Bostic/Alonso
3. Montgomery
4. Bostic/Alonso

I can't see Alonso/Bostic dropping to the 4th.

Direckshun 04-20-2013 03:49 PM

Montgomery easily could.

Definitely. I'm just not sure that I would use both of my 3rds on ILB that project as 3 down players. however, that gives you quite a bit of flexibility out of base fronts.

Direckshun 04-20-2013 04:26 PM

Use one of them on Jones.

BOOM. Roster fixed, draft won. WalterFootball given the Pullitzer for football punditry.

Probably not, though maybe this regime sees some of the same things that the astute CP contributors see.

Bostic is a stud, plays nasty and has excellent athleticism. Huge ceiling.

Barrett Jones is the best offensive lineman in this draft. First team All-American as a sophomore at guard; Outland Trophy winner as a left tackle his junior year; Rimington Award winner at center his senior year. That's kicking major ass at every goddamn line position. Smart and nasty as a junk yard dog. He's a huge reason that Chance Warmack is getting the attention he is for this draft.

The Bad Guy 04-20-2013 05:48 PM

Getting Bostic to play next to DJ would be a damn wet dream.

The Bad Guy 04-20-2013 05:50 PM

Getting Bostic would allow for him and DJ to do exactly what Bowman and Willis do, stay on the field every down.

Yuppppp.

Would love to have him or Alonso, despite how defecient Alonso might be against the run playing as the SILB.

I want 2 ****ing ILBs who can play all three downs dammit and I want them now!

CaliforniaChief 04-20-2013 09:08 PM

Bostic seems to be moving up. We would do so well to get him.

O.city 04-20-2013 09:10 PM

IF we get the 2nd back, or when I guess, if Minters there I want him.

Bewbies 04-21-2013 11:40 AM

I've been hoping all along that we get Bostic and Jones. That would be great!

Direckshun 04-21-2013 11:45 AM

For the record, WalterFootball is based out of Philadelphia, where they've been entrenched for like ten years with reliable access to Andy Reid's scouts.

Just throwing that out there. We'll see, come draft day.

The Franchise 04-22-2013 09:08 AM

People want a DE that admitted to taking ENTIRE ****ing games off?

DaKCMan AP 04-22-2013 09:11 AM

DaKCMan AP approves.

RealSNR 04-22-2013 01:50 PM

Was Sam Montgomery even all that impressive to people in games? I didn't think he was worth much more than a middle round pick. And now that he's apparently a lazy butthole, I CLEARLY wouldn't take him before the 4th round now.

Reliable is a hell of a stretch.

Nightfyre 04-27-2013 12:37 PM

Very reliable, apparently. LMAO

Better check Dorsey's scouts next time.

Sorter 04-29-2013 07:52 PM

They probably did like him.
