Lol @ your thread title. Aren't you supposed to show support for tithe local team?

BillSelfsTrophycase 07-03-2010 03:22 PM

There must be some national league interest in Guillen, he's been playing a lot in right lately

I loathe the Angels.

A few years ago I took my son to his first MLB game in Anaheim. When the Royals scored and I stood up and cheered along with 5 other people in the whole park, he said "Dad wouldn't it be safer to cheer for the Angels?" I told him "I'd rather be stoned in this parking lot and root for the Royals than live a long life as a fan of a team who needs a monkey to get excited." The comment was for the fans around me but sums up how I feel about them.

Was it T-shirt Tuesday? College Night Wednesday? Go-****-yourself Thursday? Fireworks Friday?

I'd like to see Callaspo get back on track, he's a better hitter than his average right now.

DeezNutz 07-03-2010 03:37 PM

He has a career OPS of 96, and he's sitting at 95 right now.

JoeyChuckles 07-03-2010 04:23 PM

Hey, the Royals are only 9 games out.

Honestly though, I hope that fact doesn't affect their trading stance. There are a few players on this team that need to go.

SPATCH 07-03-2010 04:43 PM

COME ON CHEN

petegz28 07-03-2010 04:51 PM

I think the Angels have set the trend. We should now name teams like they do

such as...

The NY Jets of East Rutherford, NJ
(same for the Giants)

The New England Patriots of Foxboro

The Texas Rangers of Arlington

The Minnesota Twins of Minneapolis

LMAO

I saw somewhere that he is the #1 ranked 3rd basemen in the league. Should be easy to trade him.

:spock:

Cool. Let's send him to TB in exchange for their sack of shit. Throw in Hochevar, too, cause I'm generous like that.

Yeah, who would want to give up a #4 and a utility guy for Longoria?
