This team needs more midgets!
|
He has nothing on Chris Manno
|
Bring him in! I love how Dorsey has this "go get em" attitude that both Carl and Peehole lacked
|
Bobby Sippio 2: Electric Boogaloo
|
Little NFL has produced a couple of keepers:
Joe Theismann Doug Flutie Warren Moon Joe Kapp Jeff Garcia Cameron Wake Cookie Gilchrist Rocket Ismail Mike Vanderjagt Lawrence Tynes Andrew Hawkins Mervyn Fernandez Jerrell Freeman Brandon Browner Marc Boerichter Terrible weather, 3 downs, huge field, ugly cheerleaders... that's how we roll. http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_LO-1Q5kFSj...1600/84875.jpg |

We're due for one of these guys to work out

Tamarick vanover worked out.
|
I'm from Saskatchewan and have watched almost every game of his since he's been in the CFL. He's really quick, runs good routes and has AMAZING hands, he reminds me of Wes Welker cause of how small he is.
|
Is he like Cincys Hawkins
|
I'm convinced that John Dorsey is a GM robot and never actually sleeps.
|
Some highlights:
|
I just want a guy named Weston Dressler on the team. Find him a role Andy

I like it. He is from Bismark North Dakota. He will play with heart.
|
I don't know how well his game translates over to the NFL. I haven't seen a single clip yet where he has to start from a set position on the LOS and beat some form of press coverage. Every play I've seen has him get a running start which allows him to avoid any press coverage and run right by DBs who are starting from more traditional sets. He'll get stonewalled in the NFL. Won't make it out of camp.

I think we can be assured McCluster is gone.

May be the kind of reciever that naturally finds the open spot in the defense but otherwise goes unnoticed.

It will be hard to find evidence of that cause all receivers in the CFL get a running start. He can also return kickoffs and punts and has been quite successful at that in the past.
I'm just interested to see how his tryout goes since i've been watching him for the last 6 years in the CFL and he's finally getting a chance. |
memories of Sippio and hope
|
What? No sign the QB too?
I guess Alex Smith doesn't suck anymore. |

Whether he sticks or not doesnt matter, what matters is that Big Daddy John Dorsey is the Pinkertons of GM's... He Never Sleeps.
Some pretty sweet highlights there, but damn... it'd been a while since I'd seen any CFL, those endzones are freakin CRAZY. |

This guy could be more productive than the backup right tackle Dorsey drafted #1

Weston Dressler sounds a lot like Wes Welker. Just sayin.... :D

Ahhhh, Ivor Wynne. The first place I got drunk. The first place I fingered a girl, under the South end bleachers. My memories of the CFL. |

Yeah, I like what we're doing, I'm just hoping something pans out. But, I guess you have to take a chance and buy a ticket if you hope to win the lottery.

he white.

we need Casey Printers throwing to him.
|
Seems like he can catch, and has pretty good speed. But he won't be able to rely on that running start or the ****in' endzone being 3 miles deep...

Marc Boerigter part Deaux!
Hope this midget version can stay healthy if the Chiefs sign him... |
Heck yes... kid looks good. If they could give Chad Hall snaps last year, then bringing this kid in to compete for a depth chart spot is fine. I like the way he adjusts late to the deep passes, and he looks like he can fit in well in this system and be productive.
|
Give him a shot.
