if someone other than Brady or Manning represent the AFC in the Super Bowl this year I'll be shocked.

I could see Schaub.

The Pats are the biggest paper tiger I've seen in awhile.

That team won't win a single playoff game.

Especially w/out Gronk.

What the **** do you know about what a playoff game winning team looks like?

Hootie 12-06-2012 09:54 PM

I would not be surprised one bit if Houston and Atlanta were one and done.

The NFC is really, really WIDE open...I could see 7 or 8 teams representing the NFC in the Super Bowl.

Tentatively, I'm predicting Giants/Broncos (just because the NFL deserves a Manning bowl)

I just don't see Matt Schaub in the Super Bowl. I like him, he's good...but he'd be the worst QB to go to a Super Bowl in a really long time.

I agree.

That team is ****ing loaded though. If they can get healthy in the secondary for the playoffs...JFC.

Hootie 12-06-2012 09:57 PM

and Peyton Manning masked a lot of really, really dreadful Indianapolis teams.

This Denver team wasn't built around Peyton Manning...they have a legit, legit, SUPER legit defense like Claythan said.

Manning and a defense in the playoffs? Shit the last time his defense showed up for him he won the Super Bowl against the Bears.

If someone put a gun to my head and said pick the Super Bowl winner and if you're wrong you're dead...I'd take Denver.

Worse than Rex Grossman?

Worse than Matt Hasselbeck?

Don't think so.

JC...

Hootie 12-06-2012 09:57 PM

and I don't really care what anyone says about Marvin Harrison or Reggie Wayne...Manning has never had a throw it up and see what happens kind of player like he has with Demaryius.

GloryDayz 12-06-2012 09:58 PM

He prolly just wants SOMEBODY to catch one of his passes!

Yup. And in my opinion, Manning is getting better every week. He's still recovering.

New England dominated Denver when they met. Although I'm guessing in a playoff game it'll probably be tighter, but still. GoChiefs just wants to be able to make fun of the Patriots.

probably comparable to those two

in 2006 Grossman was either really good, or really bad...nothing in between

so I'd definitely take Schaub over Grossman but again...Grossman was 7 years ago...Hasselbeck was probably the exact same player as Schaub back when the Seahawks went...what a great comparison really

I'm so angry we didn't get Von Miller.
