Next Seasons Record
Since we are most likely not going to do anything in free agency and just rely on the draft what do you think our record will be next year. Here is a list of next years opponents:
Home Denver, Oakland, San Diego, Baltimore, Cincinnati, San Francisco, Seattle, Jacksonville Away Denver, Oakland, San Diego, Cleveland, Pittsburgh, Arizona, St. Louis, Miami I say we go 6-2 at home and 4-4 on the road for a grand total of 10-6 and get in the playoffs as a wild card team. What do you think planeteers? |
11-5... I love the optimism of the offseason. BTW, the Royals are going to finish above .500!
|
I think we have a solid team. 10-6 sounds like realistic possibility. Maybe 9-7?
I don't think we'll make the playoffs. We're still far on defense, and the lack of activity in FA is going to bite us the rear. I have a feeling. UNLESS, we have a stellar draft, then my opinions about this team will change. *But, I'll keep our record as 9-7, 10-6.....Possibly missing the playoffs again. Same old, great offense, bad defense. |
I haven't seen anything positive happen with this team this offseason.
Replacing DV with Herm -- less Replacing Al Sanuders with Mike Solari -- less Getting rid of Warfield, McCleon, Barber and replacing with no one...even A lot of time left before we see to much happen. Based on what we have today and the 2006 schedule... pure speculation...9-7. |
No Way
9-7 will be a dream season for this team. I am predicting 6-10 or worse.
We have done nothing, are a year oldered and really havent stepped up to make the team better. Typical Peterson and the Chefs. |
14-2 and we will make it to the AFC championship game this year...

Unless things change between now and preseason to start filling the voids left by cuts and FA, as well as the carry-ever weaknesses from last year, I'm thinking this team will be 8-8 at best.
|
Ironically, I was just having this discussion with my Bears fan buddy today. My opinion then, as it is now is 8-8. Talk to me again at the start of training camp and I'll let you know if that has changed.

I'm seeing a pretty easy schedule there - the two Super Bowl teams, Denver and SD, and a whole lot of crap teams. If we win even one of those, and sweep the easy teams, we're 11-5, so that's what I'm going with.

High On Life :D Seriously If the Chiefs Play the way we know they can Play... I only see us losing at Denver and At Pittsburgh. We can Handle the rest. I have Blind Lust For the team |
Somewhere between 2-14 and 6-10...whichever gives KC the worst possible 1st round pick that they will eventually waste on a reach/tweener that is constantly injured until 2010, that pick is released while Carl re-ups for another 4 years.

Too early to call. Need FA and draft completed some
gelling under Herm. Offseason prediction. 9-7 or 10-6. NFCW... Seatte - L AZ - W STL - W SF - W Dungver - split Oakland - Sweep 2 SD - split Cleveland - W Pitt - L Baltimore - W Cincinnati - W Jacksonville - L Miami - L 10-6....JV or Baltimore L 9-7 |
9 - 7, unless they fix the defense.
