He is, so it really demonstrates how bad of shape the program is in.

It was. They went with big names over good matchups. Jones being an idiot killed it. They needed guys like Cerrone, Condit, a Diaz, and Lawler on it. It really lacked a good war.

Round 3: lesnar takes hunt down and beats his head into mashed potatoes

Just to add on to that summary, Lesnar did a great job staying out of Hunt's range and slipping his punches when Hunt got close. Once he demonstrated that he could keep his head from being smashed in, then the outcome was pretty much inevitable because Hunt is helpless on the ground.

stevieray 07-10-2016 12:35 PM

thanks guys...I don't know how anybody survives his ground and pound.

Other than Silva/DC, I don't understand how anyone could complain about the card. Round 1 heavyweight KO to start things off, a great 5 round battle, then yes that fight I'd like to scrub from my memory but then we had the Hunt/Lesnar freak show, and the big upset at the end.

Maybe people were holding it up to some mythical standard, but for those of us who watch 9 or 10 PPV's a year, this was a great card.
