Cancelled my trip to KC

Hey Planet. I was planning on driving to KC tonight for Thanksgiving, but abandoned the plan when I heard about the 6 inches of snow that hit. I'm sorry I'll miss out on KC, my parents and Gates barbeque. I'm sure I'll get there after the first of the year.

You've been in Texas for FAR too long. I've always gotten a big kick out of the rough and ready Texans wetting their pants about driving in even a few inches of snow.

There are two things in this world that scare Texans. Snow and the Oklahoma Sooners.

That is weak, I think most of the roads are clear enough as it got up to almost 40 today.

So coward is correct.

ROFL

Much love from my planet brothers.

Streets melt during the day and temps drop below freezing at night causing ice patches. Couple that with the heaviest traffic of the year and yahoos who can't drive. Add to that the potential of more snow. My kids must be back for school on Monday as does my wife (she working on a Master's of Divinity).

I took the safe route. BTW, I'm a Kansas Citian at heart, never a Texan. As a matter of fact, I root for Oklahoma over Texas.
