Frosty 02-13-2013 01:18 PM

Great feeling, isn't it? Ours are all paid off.

Lzen 02-13-2013 01:21 PM

Congrats! We just paid off our Sante Fe in January. Will be nice to have a little extra dough.

Rain Man 02-13-2013 01:22 PM

My car is ethical. I don't have to pay it off.

kepp 02-13-2013 01:22 PM

Nice. I'll be paying my truck off this week.

In58men 02-13-2013 01:23 PM

Hey Gonzo?????

I completely understand you now. You showed me the way.

Phobia 02-13-2013 01:25 PM

All our vehicles are paid off. Still isn't enough money to go around. Craziest thing.

big nasty kcnut 02-13-2013 01:39 PM

Yeah, that "now we can set aside what we would have been paying for the car" statement never seems to work out for us.

Dartgod 02-13-2013 01:42 PM

Wow, that roller derby gig is paying off well.

We paid off our cars just in time to have to insure two teen drivers. Ouch!

ReynardMuldrake 02-13-2013 02:31 PM

I'm getting mine paid off next month, over a year ahead of schedule. Yay!

You must still be driving a beater? yes?

Stewie 02-13-2013 02:47 PM

Good for you.

I paid mine off in '09 and have loved the extra cash flow.

scho63 02-13-2013 03:51 PM

Congrats!

Last year I bought a used car for the first time in my life. That's 32 years of driving. It was inexpensive and I paid cash. Not having a car payment is GREAT and my insurance is also very cheap.

I doubt I'll ever buy a new car again.....

Demonpenz 02-13-2013 04:19 PM

Yay I paid for what I bought.

I am not going to have a car payment ever again. 300,000 on my truck. Craigslist. My wife is paying her new car payment.

candyman 02-13-2013 06:48 PM

Congrats. I paid all my cc debt off with my income tax return, and still had enough left to significantly increase my savings. Feels great.

I paid off my credit card, and put a car up for sale that I have a big chunk of positive equity in. Then I'm debt free except for the house. Hollaaa
