Goalline fumble broke down on MSN Redzone
Ok, first off, props to Lilja. Dude took 100% of the blame and said he left it short when clearly we know the reality.
Bill Maas broke it down and threw the blame on Cassel. Said you could tell by his stature at the line that it was going to be a QB sneak and he took off early. Also Lilja pointed out it was not a called play. Repeat, the QB sneak was not a called play. Cassel "alerted" into the QB sneak. |
I thought Cassel was going to be called for a false start on that play.
|
I know a lot of people here don't care for Lilja, but IMO (which may not mean much) he has done a pretty spectacular job filling in for Hudson.

Lilja looks better at center then Hudson has |

I laughed my ass off when Cassel botched that snap, but just about came out of my chair when Dan Fouts tried to place the blame on Lilja. Do these useless analysts think we are that stupid? |

I am impressed with Lilja. Some say he was washed up when we signed him. He has not been great but he is no MC and has filled in nicely.
|
I understand why Winston is upset. It's just a shame he doesn't understand why we the fans are upset.
|
Good keep lilja at center and let Hudson and Allen fight for LG

Cassel was shuffling his feet, and his hands weren't even close to being in the right spot. He was even leaning to the left of center. It was all too obvious what he was trying to do. The guy can't fool a blind man.

Even Fouts started throwing MC under the bus after the first half. |

Cassel saw an easy opportunity to score a touchdown and look like a hero, he ****ed it up. I noticed every time he audibled today it was into a running play. The dude is a weasel and a complete wimp.
|
In defense of Fouts he said Cassel tipped the play and got anxious causing the fumble.
|
Reed said he knew because Tom Brady does the same thing, and Cassel used to in New England.
"They were going to snap it so quick, and that's why (Cassel) probably fumbled it," Reed said. "He was trying to get it so quick, and I saw it coming. I've seen so many times with (New England's Tom) Brady and beings that they have a Brady background, Cassel used to be with Brady over there, it was right there and the gap was open." |

Lilja was hurt two weeks ago so we could duff a snap at the goal line today against the Ravens, negating a score that would have likely won the game, and a field goal that would have tied it, all else being equal.
Fate, my friends. Fate. Say goodbye to the one who sucks the peniss from New England. The football gods are chasing them away. |

He truly is inept in all facets. Except flash cards. Good at the flash cards. |
****ing pollard did not do his job

I still can't believe we lost this game with the way the defense played.
|
Evidently Cassel even fails at flash cards.....
 |
And the most frustrating part of this is JC and the other RB's were running all over the Ravens and Cassel audibles out of the called play and called his own number. What a dumb ****!!!

We play pussy football. On top of the matter that we don't have a QB that can do anything. Sometimes you can win a few games with pussy football if you have a clutch QB. We have a failbot at QB. FAILBOT. So not only do we puss out in trying to score, we can't do it when they have the opportunity. |
