Restaurant thread 2013
 

Thought this would be a decent idea for a thread. What restaurants have you tried/eaten at in the KC area that you are a fan of? Whatever area you are from? Didn't find a thread specifically for restaurant discussion in KC so here we go.

The wife and I tried Poropos tonight in Briarcliff. Heavily recommend.

Last time I flew back to KC...I didn't even get the bags out of the rental car before I took my wife to Oklahoma Joes.

Joes is very much a place to go.

We also have become fans of the Majestic. Steakhouse downtown. Live Jazz on weekends, very good.

Westport Flea Market...food Trucks that serve random food down in westport. Clancy's in independence for a Ruben.......Tanners for bar food.

Flea Market is awesome.


Sol at Martini Corner is pretty good as well, Baja type mexican.

Blue Koi

Best meal I had when I was back in KC over the holidays was at The Rieger Hotel Grill & Exchange.

54th St Bar & Grill. Wish they'd open one in Omaha.

The food trucks sound real good too, I'll have to look for those next time I'm down.

The Peanut has the best bar food/wings. La Bodega is fun, as is 75th St brewery.

The Beer Kitchen in Westport.
