FWIW : Gretz just said ......
Huard will be our # 3 QB and that we will pobally carry 4 QB's on the 53 man roster to start with due to Collins injury.
Huard ? Quinn has clearly out performed him at this point in preseason games. |
I wouldn't go that far. Yes, Huard had a bad game last week, but you shove Quinn out there with the third stringers immediately (instead of the first stringers when Green left tonight) and he fares no better.
I'd like to see more of Huard because I think he's better than 1 for 12. |
The only thing I don't like is carry 2 scrubs not worth having on the roster rather than only 1. No way we should be having 4 QBs on this roster when 2 of them are Huard and Quinn :Lin:

I wish Quinn was younger, his arm is pretty nice.

it's not like anyone will sign him we can always pick him up off the street |

When Collins is healthy, I see no reason to have either one of these giant turds on the roster. Cut Huard now, and Quinn when Collins is ready. |
Giant turds?
I love how everyone around here is so quick to judge after one bad game. |

He's in his prime, at the freakin' peak of his performance. These are his best suckage years! |

What is the status of Collins, how long is he out for ? |

I saw Quinn in Chicago and Jax. I'm not making judgement after one game. |

Kilian is the closest thing right now, but he certainly doesn't have an arm like Quinn. |

Quinn was shoved into a bad situation in Chicago. And I guarantee you, had he been on the roster for a few months before tonight, he would have performed much better. I mean jeez. He didn't even throw a pick! |

And the bad situation in Chicago was Rex Grossman getting injured, and Quinn starting. |

Admit it. You are knee jerking over the 1 for 12 fiasco. |

I'm knee jerking over a Dilferesque QB being asked to play in an offense that needs a QB that is asked to do more than not lose the game. |
