It's so badass you've tried this, BOCF, that's awesome, you never disappoint in the F&D category. :)

Sounds interesting I'll make a point to give it a try.

Surely someone would have posted this vid at some point. I'll do the honors and get it out of the way.

Four or five of these magic potions come out every year. It's all a marketing scam. Still can't believe they sucker people into buying it. Then again, there are a lot of dumb-asses in this world.

So it cures constipation, gout, kidney stones, rheumatoid arthritis, eczema. It prevents cancer. It prevents arteriosclerosis and kills H. Pylori (bug that causes GI ulcers).

Reduces grey hair, lowers blood glucose levels, improves vision, relieves headaches and
migraines. There are also claims of reversing AIDS.
Remember, your results may vary. LoL

A pubmed search of the stuff really only shows case reports of toxicity (hepatitis and acidosis mostly) from drinking the stuff.

Seriously? Yet none of this has to be evaluated by the FDA.

Sorry in advanve for punctuation. Have not gotten the hang of typing on my new phone.

I asked my MD friend at work about Kombucha, and she said there was no scholarly evidence it had any health benefits, and some people could be harmed by a heavy intake of bacteria and yeast.

Ok - she hasn't text responded yet, but her general response to "what about this health fad?" is that whatever beneficial ingredient there might be in the latest miracle product, they can usually be found in the foods that should already be in your diet.

I only drink Synergy Organic & Raw Kombucha Tea-Juice with little to no alcohol, because alcohol dries your face out and makes you look older.
