More Schadenfreude for the Broncos haters

Looks like Marshall could be the second thong-wearing vag boy heading out of Donkeytown:

As storm clouds gather (again) in Denver between the Broncos and a high profile offensive player, rumors are flying in some circles that Marshall could land in Baltimore.

The Broncos today signed free-agent wide receiver Brandon Lloyd, who played for the Chicago Bears last season after stints with Washington (2006-07) and San Francisco (2003-05).

Lloyd, 6-feet, 194 pounds, has 156 receptions and 15 touchdowns in 79 career games, including 47 as a starter. He was selected by the 49ers in the fourth round (124th overall) in the 2003 draft out of the University of Illinois.

Last season as teammates with new Broncos quarterback Kyle Orton, Lloyd played in 11 games (five starts) with the Bears, catching 26 passes for 364 yards (14.0 average) and two touchdowns. He will turn 28 next month.

It just keeps getting better.......

LMAO If they lose Marshall, they'll struggle to win 4 games.

This is why I don't buy jerseys...

doomy3 06-15-2009 05:58 PM

Damn, if Brandon Marshall goes somewhere else, that will be unreal.

Mile High Mania 06-15-2009 06:02 PM

All I can say is that without Marshall... the offense just took a step back. I can justify the replacement of QBs because of the WRs, the Oline and the upgrade at RB... however, you can't just replace a guy like Marshall. Sure, they can trade for Boldin, but who says that has a chance in hell of happening.

I'm going to just sit back, make no attempts to spin and let whatever happens happen...

"Marshall likely would command at least a first-round and a third-round draft pick, due to the trade that sent Roy Williams from the Lions to the Cowboys last year.

"The move also would require a contract worth $9 million or more per year.

So it would be a huge deal for anyone to do a deal for Marshall, especially in light of his past legal troubles."

I don't see it happening.

I'm not sure you could expect that kind of haul for him simply because he is a dynamite ready to go off at any minute and you are looking at a one year ban. He has had so many problems that I'm not sure a team would have to give up that much for him. He is an absolute freak though, that I would love to get out of the division.

good stuff-Donks are sucking this offseason

Orton to Llyod should be worth about 20 TD's this season-lol

Sure-Oz 06-15-2009 06:16 PM

What a dogshit offseason for denver if this happens. losing their 2 best players, both pro bowl type guys

Honestly... if they lose Marshall and fail to do anything like swing a trade for a Boldin, I'm done before training camps open up. If they end up trading those 2 players, I see no point in fighting through the BS that this season will be... the other faithful members of the predominantly orange and blue can say whatever they like, but if they end up doing this... the season is dead to me.

Mile High Mania 06-15-2009 06:25 PM

If they do trade Marshall... I will feel like this guy going into 2009. They're just chipping away and I'll nearly be left with nothing to fight with... the same will apply with the team.
