Last 2 home games of the year. I'll be there tommorow night for the last one. We win both games and we finish the season above .500 at home. Louis Mendoza on the mound tonight (PCL pitcher of the year)

How did Mendoza come about to be a Royal?

Hope Mendoza has a shot with the club next year and takes advantage of it. I know he's a late bloomer but we'll take 'em from where ever they come.

I'm jealous of you guys who get to watch so many games. I follow mostly by reading everything I can, gamecast, watching the highlights on-line a hundred times each and ESPN. I get to see some games against StL, the Sox and the Cubs. Maybe next year I'll feel like I can buy the games on-line but this year wasn't the year.

It takes effort to be die-hard from here but I have to do it.

Yeah I know but I've been here for the days of Tim Belcher and Neifi Perez and Benito Santiago... mostly still believing like a damn fool. I can't quit my Royals. This year with all the kids coming up and the future hopefully starting it'd be nice to have seen more games.

There's no logic to being a sports fan it just is.

No one is going to be happier than me if we ever win again. I'll probably cry lol.
