Can you cook corn in a dishwasher?

A friend of mine said they were having a BBQ party, didn't have enough room on the stove, or enough time to boil corn on the stove top, so they did it in the dishwasher using the sanitize cycle, no soap or rinse agent of course.

Anybody ever done this? Looks kinda kooky....

I've heard of people doing it. was never allowed to try it myself.

I think I would wanna run that cycle a few times to make sure the unit was good & rinsed out. But other than that. 2:30 minutes in hot ass water & then into the butter

Maybe you can do it, but they're still going to be lousy dishes. You ever try to put baked beans on an ear of corn?

Toss a stick o' butter in with the ears, close the door..then..

..SET IT & FORGET IT!!

FYI that picture wasn't taken after the corn was 'cooked' it was taken after it was cleaned post 'cornholing' party. Hence why it needed to be 'sanitized'. :Lin:
