Four weeks from today the Chiefs will be 2-2 at least
 

If you go ahead and assume that Trent is out for the Denver game and that the Chiefs will lose that game, I think the 2 games after the bye, assuming Trent is back by then sets up nicely for the Chiefs to climb back to 2-2 and head into that Pittsburgh showdown back at .500.

After the bye week the Chiefs host SF at Arrowhead. With the return of Trent Green and a bye week to work out the problems in the pass protection (i.e. get Sampson healthy and get Black back on the sideline) the Chiefs offense will explode against a horrible 49ers defense. Then it is on to Arizona, which is a very winnable game for the Chiefs, and provides the offense another opportunity to get their legs under them against a mediocre defense (especially pass defense).

Even though Arizona is what it is....It's hard to count any road games for this team as sure wins.

Arizona is supposed to be quite improved this year.

Their passing game looks good against the 49ers, but they still have no running game or defense.

Arizona has Bertrand Berry and Chike Okeafor.

We're ****ed if we don't get the pass pro figured out.

You maybe right but .50 at .25 way thru the season isn't exactly great.

You know what scares me; Dick Vermeil is in his golden years but he seems very young at heart and health wise. Would he have gotten out of the situation he was in if the Chiefs were in a year of the Super Bowl?

Arizona does have Edge James now.....and yea if our line isn't any better Berry will own us.

The same Edge who is averaging 2 ypc against the 49ers?

Imagine this...

We lose to the Donks next week. Then we get a win against the shitty 49ers at home.

We're 1-2.

Then Arizona and Pittsburgh destroy us in road games.

1-4. Season ****ed.

Trent Green should retire before Shawne Merriman ends HIS career.

We will be 3-1.

I have no good reason to support that other than keeping my own sanity for 6 more days.
