I think it's going to be Davis Webb.

This article checks every box on Andy Reid's qb check list.

This reminds me of the way Andy Dalton was talked about as a 4th round guy for the first couple months of draft talk. Then just before the combine he started to get mention as an early 3rd/2nd round guy, with a handful of draft guys predicting possible 1st round. Now about a week out all the talk is about him going in the 1st round.

He's also about as ugly as Andy Dalton, too.

No. Completely unimpressive last year.

I'm not sure how I feel about it at all.

He was fourth or fifth best QB in the Pac last year. Would of been 5th or 6th best if Rosen hadn't been hurt.

Unless they are prepare to jump ahead of all the people who are ready to jump ahead of them, they won't have much of a choice but guys like Webb,Peterman,Dobbs,Kaaya etc

Chief Northman 04-20-2017 08:25 PM

Be kind to your webb-footed friends,
For that bust may be somebody's brother

He lives in a hole in a swamp
Where the passes are always a dump

You may think that this is the end:
Well it is, but to prove the Chiefs are liars

We're going to play it again,
But only this time our passes will sail a little higher

There has got to be no bigger waste of time in human history than people discussing the NFL draft. Especially draft picks after the 1st round.

It's not a waste of time. It's the very lifeblood of the sport we crave. If you don't draft well your franchise is going in the shitter. How is that not worthy of discussion?

Then why are you even on this forum?

Better yet, why do you watch ****ing sports at all?

All fans can do is speculate and wish. That's our position. WE aren't the participants. That's why we debate, predict, and speculate. Because it's the only thing we CAN do.

The NFL draft is a perfect vessel for that fan speculation. It's ****ing fun. You do this shit all the time, too. WHENEVER YOU ****ING TALK SPORTS. The NFL draft just involves college players prior to entering.

If you have to have this explained to you, I think you'd be better off doing something different with your time. Like gardening. Or jogging. Or reading a book.

RealSNR 04-20-2017 08:54 PM

BWillie, do you think the Chiefs can win the big game this week?

BWillie: "I don't know and neither do you. What we think will happen with players often ends up going in the opposite direction. It's a waste of time to even discuss this."

Sandy Vagina 04-21-2017 03:36 AM

I still think of Webb as a 3rd rounder, but if he's the choice at 27, I wouldn't get angry. I figure they could do worse.. and it is a position of great need soon enough.
