Does anyone else here use Tapatalk?

I tried it, but since it has to put a message "sent from tapatalk blah blah blah" I stopped using it and I find it cumbersome to have to delete that everytime.

I was actually gonna ask about that. I'm using Tapatalk right now but the SENT FROM message doesn't show up. I wondered if it happened for everyone. If you don't use it solely for that reason, then just disable it in the settings.

oh I didn't realize that you could disable it. But with metro pcs, it's worse than a 56K modem connection.

Go to settings and turn off the signature.

For some reason even with it turned ON it doesn't show up.

Yeah, I've used it off and on for a couple years. It's a nice alternative to trying to browse ChiefsPlanet through a browser.

And yeah - you've always been able to turn off the signature. If it's not working, it's a bug of some sort.

Use it all the time. Using it now.

No not at all. Just use my mobile browser with Java script and images disabled. Java scripts on this site, lock up my phone.

Use it for pictures and videos.

Not on this site, but it does on other sites if it isn't disabled.

It's an Android app that makes it easier to browse and post on forums.

I use it a ton. Disabled the Sig. Nice clean forum browsing.

My only issue is I get a lot of force closes on CP. I think it has to do with all the images and gifs.

I just use chrome on my mobile and it works pretty well. Don't seem to have any issues.

For me, the main thing with tapatalk is that I don't have to be near as precise with my tapping. The main action I do is clicking the little red arrow to "go to first unread post," and that's a pain with any normal browser (though Chrome does make it easier by popping up the little zoom window when you're close). Tapatalk, I've got a 2.5"x0.5" area to tap that does the same thing.

On the other hand, Tapatalk doesn't do a good job with certain things like showing certain types of embedded media (images and videos), and I'm puzzled why they still haven't added poll support. But, it's good to have as an option at least.

I do too, but only since I changed phones. My Droid X (original one) ran like a pro. But the Samsung Galaxy S3 shuts down. The Galaxy kills it on all others, but Tapatalk gets forced close a lot.

Don't you work with a bunch of IT geniouses that could figure that out?

I use chrome on my iPhone. I don't like tapapappapwhatever.

For me it's by far the most efficient way to browse forums on my phone.

My phone doesn't make tapatalk easy. Its easier to just use my phone like a computer and use chrome. The forum doesn't look the same and I can't roam around as well using tapatalk.

Nope, I just use my phone to hop on the internet via chrome. Works just like I'm on the computer using the internet.

Tapatalk looked funky to me. I didn't have the same settings and I couldn't move around as easily. I'm old fashioned, if it isn't broke, don't fix it.

Fair enough. I use it because it's smooth, simple, and user friendly. It may be different on iOS.
