Yup. I think that's why the Chiefs didn't trade down. The Jets gave up NOTHING to move into the top 5. Unreal. The draft board really was out the window this year.

We got a sweet deal for our 2nd rounder. We got a SHITTY deal for our 1st rounder, which was a HIGH first rounder.

Which pick is more important to get a sweet deal on to grant the most success?

The move was to never trade for Cassel and draft Sanchez.

You don't have to be a genious to figure it out.

Instead you hand 36 million to Matt ****ing Cassel and drop another 25+ guaranteed on a mid first rounder like Tyson Jackson.

I like it when my guys get their guys. And Sanchex goes on to bust for the Jets. LOL Oh no...I meant the Jets are now a dynasty. LOL

That's the main thing. I don't even mind the Jackson pick (it's pretty obvious nobody wanted a top 3 pick this year) as much as I mind everything that led up to it. The Cassel trade, the decision to follow the herd and switch to a 3-4, everything.

Yeah I was surprised at the compensation. They could have done better.

makes me think that we probably didn't trade down because we didn't get any offers worth a shit

I love how the anti-true fans are so certain that all their moves are gold.

I guess I'll have to wait until he plays a bit before I declare him a bust.

This thread would have been started no matter who we picked, unless it was Sanchez. It was already locked an loaded just waiting to have the submit button pushed.

Now I know you're a dumbass. The "native" shoot is irrelevant. You have some sort of engineering/science degree, really? In what? And spout shit on a BB? Wow! You're a genious!

Yes. A bunch of teams are switching to 3-4. If you want to get ahead, you generally don't do what everyone else is doing.

Yeah I can see why anyone would assume Pioli doesn't know shit about defensive linemen
