Any Simpsons fans on here? If Missouri wins, maybe some of you could come down here for it. Then, maybe, we could have a CP get-together.

Oh, who am I kidding?

Oops, after further review, it looks like I've shortchanged the city of Springfield, NE. In 2000 the population was 1450, The good news for any single guys is that there are only 706 males as opposed to 744 females there.

It's Illinois because it's close to Capitol City, which seems more Chicago - esque than Kansas City-esque or St Louis-esque

Luv, the Simpsons are awesome, but unless you can offer a lake house with a jet ski and boat...and maybe some really hot women (and men) to look at; I'm not in.

Did I mention it was close to Branson? Tablerock? Not sure how much cabins and jet skis would be though. :)

Speaking of Springfield, anyone else had rain everyday for over a week? Not continual here, but it's rained a few hours each evening.

After coming within an inch or two of setting a record for rainfall in the month of May, we've had maybe an inch of rain here this month. Send some of that shit up this way.

With pleasure. The days are still hot, so the moisture makes it really sticky. The AC is out in my car, too.

I literally had a new pond across the street from me yesterday after that rainstorm that came in around 4 p.m.

It is normally a drainage ditch that runs through an open field. I couldn't see the ditch or the field.

Yeah, it rained pretty hard for awhile. Part of our parking lot at work looked that way.

It's raining again. I'd complain, but I love the sound of thunder.
