The war on Easter has begun! The principal of Heritage Elementary School in Madison, Alabama has banned the use of the word Easter in the school saying that it infringes on the rights of students.

Lydia Davenport explained the move, saying, “Kids love the bunny and we just try to make sure that we don’t say the ‘Easter Bunny’ so that we don’t infringe on the rights of others, because people relate the Easter bunny to religion.”

"well, because it's against the rules"

Banning it might be a good idea but not for the reasons given here. More about the disgusting commercialism that has distorted the word's true meaning.

Thats what I call it.

My dad did shit like that all the time. Had to pick me up from grade school one day at about noon because I didn't feel well. after an hour or so, I felt better, and he wanted to cheer me up. So he got a stash of bottle rockets (still no idea why he had a stash of them).

we go out side and start shooting them off (illegally...and we live about 100' from an on-ramp to the highway). having a great time.

Then he sees my mom round the corner and he goes "Shit. quick, grab the stuff." we trott in towards the house and he does "Shit!...go back and get my smokes"! which were laying in the drive way.


good times.

So saying Easter around someone who isn't Christian is wrong. But forcing the Christian to accept gay marriage laws is ok.



This country really doesn't deserve to survive very much longer.
