You know the funniest thing about that argument of avoiding BA's salary? Even if Joeckel plays well, we'll be in this same situation in 4 years. I guess they'll be on the trade Joeckel and draft another LT in the first round bandwagon then too.

I agree, it doesn't make much sense. But Andrew Luck isn't there either.

I don't think they're convinced on who the best QB is to keep us above .500 and they'll continue to build the team around the QB UNTIL they find one worth drafting.

I think Phat Andy and Dorsey both have very little doubt there's talent here but it's aged. They don't want to have that 3 or 4 or 5 win season moving forward.

And they both know we have total $#it at QB but it's just temporary as we build the team around one...
