As for the people saying it will suck.. I do not think it will be anything awe inspiring.. But it will be an updated ID4 type movie, with bigger actors, explosions and action.. Great blockbuster have fun and geek out movie..

If you were ever nerd enough to read any Avengers comic you'd know Loki is why they joined up.

If this were just Batman, or just Spiderman, or just Superman I could go with that. That's not the plan.

Despite the fact they cut my favorite actor (Ed Norton) it's still a great cast. If the writing is worth a $#it at all Evans (Cap) and Downey Jr. (Iron Man) could carry this move by themselves.

With Sam-L and Scarlett as the fanservice this has no excuse not to be knocked out of the park.

You don't use 5 years of build up for a "eh, that was pretty good" kind of movie...

This better rock. And it better be at least 2.5 hours long.

Well its written and directed by Josh (Buffy, Firefly, Dollhouse) Whedon. His strong suit is his snappy dialogue and strong writing. Hes also a big comic book geek and has written several. He hasnt directed much "big action" except for the Firefly movie, but alot of action scenes are directed by 2nd unit crews now days anyways...I fully expect his script and dialogue to be top notch.
