The Letter of the Law and Goodell

Regardless of your personal feelings about Tyreek Hill, if Goodell is to proceed by the Letter of the Law then how does he go about dealing with Hill if again the DA still chooses not to press charges even after this audio release ? Poll forthcoming.

He gives him a god damn Super Bowl ring, because the Chiefs are winning it this year with or without him!!!

The Chiefs winning the Super Bowl without Tyreek Hill playing a down for them this season would be my favorite thing that happened in sports ever

He will get a 2-game slap on the wrist as a way of saying "stop laying down with succubi who tarnish the shield, you were already on thin ice dummy."

Chiefs will go 2-0 and we will laugh when his first catch goes for an 80 yard TD.

Tyreek will find a nice Johnson county girl and settle down.

4 game suspension. they will say he violated the personal conduct policy due to the audio or something.

This most likely but it's bullshit. I guess players are expected to be pastors.

it is but they have to make it look like the nfl is 'doing something'.

just a way of calming down the sjws

I bet it is a 4-game suspension and the union appeals it down to 2.

4 game. And actually I kind of look forward to seeing what Mahomes and the crew do without him for a few games. It'll be the Watkins/Hardman show. When Reek gets back we'll be loaded.

As long as Mahomes is QB we'll be fine.

That's where I'm at. Fuhrer Roger will have to do something to appease the liberals. I think he'll say 4, the NFLPA will appeal, and he'll serve 2. Liberals will still liberal and, for as long as we're a threat to their 3 favorite teams, will cry like pussies.

Let them come.

I hope I get ratio'd again.

Get your ****ing politics out of my football.

When has Goodell ever gone strictly "by the book"? I can't remember a single time.

Anyway, and I hate to say this, I think there's a good chance that Goodell keeps Tyreek on the Commissioner's Exempt List as long as possible (I don't know the rules on that) and then suspends him for the remainder of the season to "make an example."

The main reason I believe that's likely is that Kraft and Goodell are basically besties, and it wouldn't surprise me at all if Kraft (behind closed doors, of course) asks Goodell for just such a favor, so his Pats have a better chance of getting to yet another SB.

The absolutely immovable "strict" minimum for domestic incidents is 6 games, correct? They had a very flimsy case against Zeke and he got 6 games. If they suspend, I don't think it can be less.
