Plus there is no proof whatsoever that Albert would be as effective on the right side. His attempt at building a great line could actually make it worse.

what difference does it make?

1. the 1st pick whoever it is won't be the highest paid player in the league
2. KC is at the top of the league in cap space

When you go 2-14 you can't be cheap, if you have to overpay to have a solid OL then you do it. Ask San Francisco is stock piling OL is a bad strategy.
