Winners, take your victory lap
I'll start.
Won my big money league for the 2nd time in 3 years. 6 pts/passing TD, so QB is key. Hit* on my first 4 picks, Brees (1), Julio (7), Graham (2), and Martin (3). Filled out the rest of the roster with value RBs (Ridley, Law Firm) and waiver wire studs (Alf Morris, Shorts, DX, Knowshon). Won the championship game by 40. My opponent, the highest scorer, traded Peyton for CJ0K a few weeks back. While the trade worked out for a while, voluntarily relying on Stafford for the playoffs was a bad call. *as defined by where they finished at their position |
Won the only money league that I was in. $850 for first place.
Kept Victor Cruz from last year. Got questioned when I took Julio Jones in the 1st round. Laughed at when I took Charles in the 2nd. About shit myself when A.J. Green was there in the 3rd and questioned again when I took Doug Martin in the 4th. Shit myself again when I got Matt Ryan in the 6th round. 2nd week of the season I traded Mark Sanchez (a FA pick up) for Greg Olsen. I spent the entire season picking up defenses and starting a new one each week. Ended the year being the highest scoring team in the league. Beat my opponent by 30 in the championship game. Now I just need to figure out who I'm going to keep for next season. |

I reaped an impressive $0 for unleashing a 400 lb bag of Big Ben on the CP league.

I finally broke through and won the championship this year.
It's a league (PPR and 1yr Keeper) my friends and I started back in 2004, and this was the first year I had actually made the playoffs...squeaked in as the 4th seed needing another team to lose so I could back in. Reamed the #1 seed (150 - 93) who had been getting really lucky catching his opponents on down weeks. Then won the championship 124 - 68. The 150 was the highest score of any week in the league, average win is around 100-105. The core of my team was Brees, Adrian Peterson, and A.J. Green. With 12 teams in the league, getting anything from waivers is impossible and we are for all intents and purposes a no trade league. Since it's a friendly league, the money is negligible...180 bucks for first. |

I lost 4 games all year. Three of those teams were in my division. I beat all three of those teams in the playoffs. |
I won 2 out of 4 leagues this year. PBJ

I won my league, despite matt forte's best effort to screw me over. entered the playoffs on a 4 game skid, so i had to take out two of the top teams. we had our championship in week 14, and the dip shit i was playing didn't bench RGIII the week he missed due to his knee. we don't play for money, but let me present: The Johnny Lawrence Memorial Cup:

I have one more week to go, 2 week combined score for finals. I'm only up by 11 after the Tom Brady/Hernandez/Gore dud but I have a decent shot of pulling it out. I've outscored the whole league by over 100 this year.

Competed in 20 leagues, all but 2 were public leagues. I won six leagues. I finished second in one and third in 3. $1500 total.

Won 1 out of the 3 I participated in, get to cash in $534! Took Calvin Johnson as my first pick at number 5, then went with Marshawn Lynch as my next pick, added Cam Newton for QB, and "stole" Adrian Peterson, somewhere around the 5-6 pick. Johnson and Newton underperformed, until the last 3-4 weeks of the season. My roster remained healthy throughout, I was lucky, in that aspect!

12 man pool and I just won back to back titles. $1000, Trophy stays here for the year, get to sign the ball and the Pièce de résistance is getting to give the mule in last place his name for next year.

Won $500 in a 12 man CBS league I've been in for about 8 years. This is my third time winning it.
My main core of starters were RGIII/Romo, TRich, Megatron, Marshall, Graham. Won the finals last week 106-101. Glad the stress of ff is done with. Now I can just cheer for a Chiefs lose this weekend to wrap up that #1 pick. |

The only real extra time commitment is in doing the drafts. I was largely doing two at a time . The key is going inti the drafts and season with a plan. Nobody ever believes me but I spent less than half an hour on it per week. Usually only about ten minutes. All my work was done preseason. And I finished top 4 in points in all but one league. The hardesr part is dealing with so many bad beats. The rules really matter and schedule variance is a bitch. |
