I don't live in any of those cities.

SDChiefs 07-12-2010 10:43 AM

List is fail. What do they even base it on?

Heh...I'm not really sure. There is a feature on the site that lets you compare a city that isn't on the list with the top 10 in the list. I did that for Columbia, MO and it beat the top 10's averages in almost every category. I'm not saying Columbia is one of the top 10 (or even 50) cities to live in, but its clear they aren't basing the rankings on just the numbers they're listing.

Top 4 places have long, bitter cold winters. No Fn thank you.

Amnorix 07-12-2010 10:47 AM

Confusing. The four Mass. cities are Newton, Waltham, Brookline, all of which I get for various reasons, and Weymouth.

WTF? Weymouth? It's not a s**thole, but umm, yeah. No.

wutamess 07-12-2010 10:47 AM

#7 asshat!

I think Peabody should be on the list, just because of how you people pronounce it. That, and Manor, TX.

Rooster 07-12-2010 10:50 AM

What? No Wichita... :harumph:

JD10367 07-12-2010 10:53 AM

Newton MA is swanky. Gotta have money to live there. Waltham MA, I thought was a shithole, but maybe it's gotten better. Brookline MA I really like. Warwick RI is the town next to mine and there's not much special about it, IMO.

I feel the same way about Shoreline, WA. Bellevue is great. But Shoreline? There are parts of Shoreline that would make you uncomfortable after dark. Not a terrible community, but I'd rather live in Edmonds right next door.

Olathe is so perfect, it was off the charts and thus it was decided no list could accommodate all that awesomeness.

Seriously, though, Shawnee? Really?

SDChiefs 07-12-2010 10:54 AM

Yorba Linda, CA is a shithole. And its number 38 on the list. I can think of 100 cities I would rather live in than.

beach tribe 07-12-2010 10:58 AM

Yeah, this list is Fail from top to bottom.

Deberg_1990 07-12-2010 10:59 AM

Still cant find anything stating the criteria for this list???
