If we just refuse to take a QB, I'd take Milliner number 1.

Yeah. I'm hoping a QB really separates himself at the combine. Hopefully Smith.

Sweet Daddy Hate 02-23-2013 08:48 AM

if we take anything other than a qb or try to trade back, these two can seriously go **** themselves.

I mostly want them to avoid drafting a lineman of any kind.

Pioli's favorite TE, Gavin Escobar, ran a 4.88. LOL. Never change, worst GM ever.

His 40 time doesnt matter all that much. Game film does. Ive never heard of the guy but he's gotten good praise

It would be great to have a tight end who would literally be significantly slower than every back seven defender on the field. Even Tony Moeaki at least ran in the 4.6s.

1. Joeckel
2. Milliner
3. Floyd
4. Warmack
5. Moore
6. Werner
7. Fisher
8. Jones
9. Patterson
10. Vaccaro

No skill position players in the top 8; five linemen in the top 7.

He's a ****ing true fan.

He's just an idiot. The end.

Calling him a true fan gives him too much credit. Many of them have a philosophy and a plan on how to go about implementing it. They could build an 8-10 win team that loses in the playoffs but stays close every game.

Scott Pioli can't do shit. He's not a true fan, he's just a reerun.

Some of the OL ran faster.

I'm more interested in the 20 yd splits for a TE, truth be told. But Lane running a 4.7 as a LT was pretty damn incredible.

He had Escobar in his top 10 underclassmen. Just hilarious.

Good height-weight-speed prospect at 6-6 and 255 who right now is more receiver than blocker. I'm high on his ability to produce as an offensive tight end right now in the more wide-open NFL offenses. He's what we call an "F-type'' tight end, a receiver who can play off the line probably more productively than as a blocker right now.

Pioli showed why he's an EX-GM. ****er is clueless.

Well that's good. Anytime you can get a slow guy that can't block and isn't particularly strong, you're well served to split him out wide.

He sounds like Michael Egnew but a 1/4 of a second slower in his 40. Egnew was a tall, thinner kid with limited blocking ability and he went out there and popped a 4.62 after being an All-American.

He played 2 games.

Thank GOD Scott Pioli is gone. Every time he speaks I understand more and more how he was so !@#$ing bad at his job.

Watching Escobar a bit more the 2nd time around, he actually reminds me a little of Mercedes Lewis.

Great hands and perfect form (attacks the ball), but he looks thick and slow to me. Not much athleticism there at all.

Looks like a good red zone TE and maybe a guy that can make catches in traffic to move the sticks, but not someone I'd use more than our comp 3rd on, if that.
