That was an entirely different squad of Seal Team 6 members.
What part is fable anyway? If ST6 didn't kill bin Laden, then why would you need to kill anyone? If nothing happened, then you don't need to kill people to cover up....nothing.
And if we didn't kill bin Laden (the legendary "he'd been dead for years") argument, then why did Al Quada agree that we killed him. Wouldn't they far prefer him to have been called home by Muhammad (or whatever), rather than admit that we got him?

And if we didn't kill bin Laden, then why would Pakistan agree that he'd been hiding in their country for years, which was an embarassing problem for them, which resulted in (let's face it) us invading them and taking bin Laden out from under their noses.

And why would Pakistan put up with international criticism for "allowing" bin Laden to hide out there for so long, even from its hated enemy India, if they didn't think bin Laden was really there?

Let's face it, the story that makes the most sense is that bin Laden was in Pakistan, and our ST6 strike got him.
