BF3 was my first online shooter experience. it's a blast 95% of the time even with Randoms. though, occasionally you ge people that are either hackers, booster, or do nothing to contribute to the team / Play like COD/MW etc.

Overall though, it's still a blast.

I quit buying the add-ons. I figured out that it didn't really give me my money's worth. And I don't pay extra for elite/premium account stuff. Just give me the game.

yeah; I don't buy the add-ons either. I usually pre-order and that gves me the extra map-packs for free when they're release. not all the packs, but at least the first batch.

MW3 has proven this those maps are just awful

I didn't like the last MoH at all, I think it was the frames per second or something, I just couldn't dig it at all. But this one looks pretty good but I'd like to see some real MP footage first.

Just like mmo are slowing going from monthly, to f2p but you will need to buy map/dungeon/raid packs..
